Useful as an introduction to a history topic about a significant individual in history. Includes pictures and key questions. I used this as an opener for a theme around space and exploration. It also encouraged the children to think about the differences between past and present life and sorting the images afterwards led to discussions around the differences in the pictures. Easy to edit and replace pictures for individuals the children have studied previously to add more context.

A foldover booklet for children to record the changes that occur in the transformation of caterpillars to butterflies. They can draw pictures or add their own photographs. Links with lots of areas of learning, especially Understanding The World and Literacy. My class used to complete these independently whenever they noticed a change.
